Smart water use in agriculture: BlueBeak offers a scalable solution to water scarcity

With increasing drought and water scarcity expected due to climate change, agriculture faces major challenges in maintaining sustainable crop production. We address the issue of inefficient water use and declining yields with a comprehensive solution: AquaLink, a smart system managing diverse water sources; TerraBot, a robot that tills soil while keeping drip lines intact; AgriFlow, an app providing real-time data and tailored irrigation recommendations; and HydroLiner, which transfers water from wetter to drier regions.

Chemical Engineering
Hey! I am Nico and currently studying at the University of applied sciences in Mannheim for my master’s degree in chemical and process engineering. I like dealing with new topics, which can also challenge me. If such topics result in projects that benefit people, I think that is all the better! From what I have seen so far, CBI A3 is a good opportunity for this. In order to have a balance, I like to visit the wine festivals in the
Palatinate with friends and taste the good wine.

Software Engineering
Hey, I’m Anni and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in software engineering. I love experimenting with new things and seeing what life has to offer. Often, you discover valuable lessons along the way! I’m thrilled to be a part of the CBI A3 and dive into this unique experience! I look forward to meet some amazing people, gain new insights, and have a fantastic time working on this project.

Process Engineering
Hello everyone, I am Fabi! I am currently at my Masters in chemical and process engineering in Mannheim. My favorite room is the laboratory! I strongly disliked chemistry back in highschool, but fell in love through my studies. Besides that I really enjoy working in teams. My goal is to develop something some day that helps the environment. When I am not at the university I try to stay active. I like all kinds of sports and going out. On the weekend I work at a club. So basically I’m always on the run!
